Trapped In Wonderland

During the last Disneyland trip, we had gotten on the Alice in Wonderland ride first thing in the morning after a big rain storm. It took a bit to get the ride up and running, but after getting just 4 or 5 cars in, the ride died. I was stuck right here for around 30 minutes. Got some interesting shots. Singing flowers. Oh yeah.

Polkadot Dream

Almost every year for the last few years, I’ve done a small poster design for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. I didn’t get to do one in 2010 cause I didn’t have a good usable photo. I got a few good ones for 2011. This was taken with an iPhone 4 and was processed using a cool app called Camera+. A little bit of color correction happened in Photoshop as well. Got a nice dreamy feeling to it. The blur around the edges I think was a nice Camera+ touch for the shot. For the poster design, there’s usually a pink overlay on the photo. We’ll have to see what I’m able to do with the layout this year. Also have to give thanks to my cohort in crime, Tara, for posing for the pictures.

Such a wonderful shot there. The colors are just excellent! Wish I could have made the Photo Walk. Looks like there was a lot of fun that was had at NAB.
